That reference is to Tony Hancock, "Hancock's Half Hour" The episode was
called "The Radio Ham" and it is one of those classics which you *really*
ought to hear. This was originally recorded in 1951 as a radio show, but
re-recorded in 1960-1 for TV. It shares a tape with another *classic*
episore called "The blood donor". Wiki: Tony_Hancock
It is probably rentable at Blockbuster. It is definitely available at PBS
stores.
