The power requirements specified in the 910H manual are 13.8 VDC +/- 15%,
which is 15.9 V on the high side. I would not feel comfortable running mine
at that level, however. I would suggest putting a couple of 100A diodes in
series with the + side of the power lead to drop it down closer to 13.8....
(2 would drop it to about 14.5, which is close to what you might encounter
in a car with the engine running)
