Seminar on AMSAT Germany P5A ground station in VK1



ANNOUNCEMENT

Seminar: The Dish at the University of Canberra  Mars on a Shoestring

The University of Canberra ( www.canberra.edu.au
<http://www.canberra.edu.au/>  , call area VK1 - Australia) has agreed to
host a seminar presentation by Peter Ellis VK1KEP at which he will explain
his proposal for the University to use its 10m dish and other dishes onsite
to support the AMSAT Germany P5A spacecraft to Mars in 2009-10, with the
support of local Amateurs.

Canberra Region Amateur Radio Society members www.vk1.wia.ampr.org
<http://www.vk1.wia.ampr.org/>  and other Amateurs are encouraged to attend
and find out how they and the University could be involved.

When: 2pm, Friday 13 October 2006
Where: Seminar Room 11B24, middle level Building 11 School of Information
Sciences and Engineering
