Mike, I have the IC-821 and the IC-910, and the 910 is an improved
version of the 821.....I've had no problems with either, and have
worked both many times in all modes....
I've had the 821 for I guess about 8 years, and the 921 for about 3
years, so I can't imagine what the complaints were!!
