Re: Satpc32 and Yaesu G5500 Rotator



The 450-degrees option can be chosen in the menu "Rotor Setup" .
The menu item "Turning point of azmith rotor"  must be set to "N",  because
the
feature  works only with rotors which have  the  "turning point" in the
North like the azimuth rotor of the G-5500.
Further, the "Flip mode" must be disabled (max. Elevation must be 90
degrees).
If one of these conditions is missing the 450-degrees option will be
disabled (greyed out).

Also, the hardware (rotor interface/controller) must support the 450-degrees
range to utilize this option. The program doesn't check that, however.

With the G-5500 and the FODTrack interface the 450-degrees option should
work.
