RE: Plantronics Headset
My experience wasn't so good. I found that I had a ton of RF feeding back
into my mic circuit and it made my audio sound horrible. The one thing I
found was that these types of headsets are not built with RF shielding in
mind.
I simply connected the headset audio to my mic input and that seemed to be
fine....other than the RF interference.

Has anyone in satellite land converted a Plantronics MS50 headset for use
with an amateur transceiver? The earphone part appears pretty clear; just
change the connector....but what about the mic?
