For those wondering what the occasional wierd CW sounds in the satellite
passband are lately I can assure you it is *not* LA2QAA transmitting in
Russian, it's a demented AO-7 beacon spitting out harmonics.
This occurs when the switching system gets it's knickers in a twist. (read:
trying to switch between modes A, B and C) due to frequent eclipse periods.
As is (or should be) well known, AO-7 can only operate when it gets enough
sunlight and the mode is completely random.
For the above reason please observe the usual QRP operating proceedures.
