Yes, we agree that the sets appear illegal, but the frequency ranges
appear wrong for interfering with AO-51.  The thread is about tracking down
the cause of the interference with AO-51.  Now if the ads stated they
operated at 11 watts in the 2 meter band, then they would be a smoking gun.
But in my prosing of  the eBay ads, I could find no cordless phones
(11 watt or otherwise) operating in the 2-meter band.

Anyway, its just a point of curiosity, not a big issue.
