AO-51 was returned to normal this evening. Seasonal changes in solar power
generation caused the battery levels to drop low enough that the voice
repeater transmitter automatically shut down to prevent overdischarge of the
batteries and possible damage. The transmitter levels were readjusted and
everything returned to normal operation by a command station.
Thanks for the reports of the problem, and your patience while it was sorted
out. Good Luck on all the demos and QSOs this weekend!
