Network Time Synchronization - Automatic PC Clock settings for WIN-XP

The NTP synchronization frequency can be modified. As a previous poster
indicated, the default for XP is 1 week = 604800 seconds.

If you're comfortable whacking your registry, change:

     SpecialPollInterval

     Registry path

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\TimeProviders\N
tpClient

When changing the value use DECIMAL to enter the seconds you want and not
HEX unless you are a total geek. Change the 604800 value.

3600 = every hour , 21600 = every 6 hours etc.

Google

meta=

and see the URL at the top of the page. Info is near the bottom of that web
site.
