Hi John,
Thanks for the info re the T81A. Sounds great.

A partial success for the last pass over head the UK.

My problem was not allowing enough Doppler for the uplink.

I think it was about 30 or so down from centre that I got an uplink.
I got a good signal in with 10watts and spoke briefly with IW1DTU. 
I will pay more attention for the next pass.
Could have down with another pair of hands too :0)
