AO-40 recovery attempts?

Does anyone know the status of any recovery attempts for AO-40? I seem to recall an analysis saying that there was at least a finite chance of the battery pack opening up at some time... Are command attempts being made at regular intervals, or is the AO-40 team doing a "wait and see" (or rather, "hear"), listening for any signs of a re-awakened bird? No significant info on the AO-40 status page... would be nice to hear an update once in a while.
Man, it would be great if it just suddenly "woke up" like AO-7...
