Hi Steve,
No, it is true. The newest Intel-based MACs can boot up either
MAC OS-X or WindowsXP using the "bootcamp" software available
from Apple. You still have to pay Bill Gates for the copy of
WinXP but this would allow you to run a lot of the ham software
that only runs under Windows.
