Hi Mark,
I just recently started using the digital birds at 9600. It's a lot
of fun! I'm using a TS-2000. Since it only has one serial port, I
have to manually tune the radio during the pass. I am considering
using a soundcard interface with MixW and the null modem cable trick
to get it over to WiSP so I can free up the TS-2000 serial port for
rig control.
I have read that MixW will work at 9600, but is it possible to also
make this setup usable at 38k4 without a mod to the TS-2000?
Alternatively, if I were to get a PCR-1000 (or perhaps a PCR-1500),
can I get it to work with MixW for 38k4 or is an external 38k4
definitely a requirement? I'm at a crossroads and I'm trying to
figure out which direction to go in.
Thanks!
