Re: Sat Programs to USB Interfacing



I've only used Keyspan adapters, so YMMV, but the
included software handles assigning "virtual" comm
ports to the USB device. Rather than having separate
"dongles" for each USB-to-Serial adapter, I purchased
a Keyspan USA-49WLC adapter that has 4 serial ports in
it. Just keeps the desk neater, and I now have a
couple of "spare" comm ports if I need them.

It works perfectly under Windoze and Linux.
