Bob,

You may mean the Pacific NW VHF Society.  This group encompasses
WA-OR-BC-ID and parts of MT-CA-NV.  It even has a few members from AK, like
me.  They promote weak-signal VHF/UHF/Microwave activity and support many
of the VHF+ contests.  There is a annual conference which this year will be
held in Bellingham, WA end of Sept.  They support weekly activity nets and
have a e-mail reflector.

In recent years I believe they have begun antenna measurement at the
conference. We thinking about attending the conference this year and
driving down to SF for the Amsat symposium the following weekend.
