Re: SatPc32, IC910H and sub audible tone control

Hello Dick,
there is a difference between the American and European versions of the
IC-910H regarding the CTCSS functions. Therefore I have different English
program versions for European and North American users. With the American
version the sub tone ist switched on with command hex. 16, sub command hex.
42 (see IC-910H manual). With the European version it is switched on with
command hex. 16, sub command hex. 43. I have the European IC-910H and when I
switch on the tone the "T-SQL" is shown on the bottom of the display but
the sub tone is correctly encoded on the TX signal and the RX will not be
squelched.
So, one explanation of your observation would be that you are using the
European program version instead of the American. Look at the filename of
the downloaded "ZIP" file: The filename of the American setup file is:
satpcsetup_a.zip, the name of the European version is satpcsetup_e.zip.

The value $3F in the file SubTone.SQF is used by Yaesu radios, with the
IC-910H the value 67.0 is used.
