KiwiSat in New Zealand Newspaper
Apparently there is a report on Kiwi Sat (A Mode B 435/145 Linear
Transponder Satellite) in a local newspaper down in New Zealand. Does anyone
know if the've managed to secure a launch opportunity for it ?
The following info from Steve ZL1TPH
----------------
The North Harbour News here on the North Shore of Auckland has a front page
acticle with a picture of Fred Kennedy ZL1BYP and KiwiSAT.
This paper is distrubuted to 20,000 letter boxes.
The satellite is shown along with amateur equipment and an excellent article
in
reference AR and science.
A few months ago the KiwiSat was in operation at a fixed address and I had
the
pleasure of working Ted ZL2IP in Tarinaki. A 435 uplink with a 144 down
link.
Good to see AR news in the papers.
It also read mention that Fred will have a question and answer and promotion
display at the North Shore Amateur Radio Club.
