I think they should let him slide but even if they won't award him, it
doesn't change the fact of what he has accomplished.

There were some people on eHam arguing about this a while back like it
would be the end of the world if they allowed him to bypass the must
be in the same location rule.  Some people get so caught up in the
rules, they miss the significance of the event...
