FW: Phonetics on FM sats

I personally try to avoid using them because of the shortness of the
pass and the longer duration of using phonetics. Some call signs are 2
X 3 and phonetics for call sign and name would probably decrease the
amount of time for other users on a LEO. Usually in my call sign, N3MVF
it's the "M" that might sound like and "N". If the other operator gets
that wrong, I do say "November 3 Mike...repeat...Mike". Of course, only
when it is in error. Otherwise, I use letters.
