You are competing with others that also have noclue.
That is why you are not making it.

The "noise" floor on UHF 437.800 +-10Mhz must be pretty loud!
Desense is KILLING most from making it.
Those that are tracking, and using Doppler frequency correction are winning.

I have been trying to get on the ISS crossband repeater with no luck today.
Using 437.800, no PL as stated on the AMSAT website for the uplink. What am
I
doing wrong? Getting a great downlink signal from it.
