The ISS has a cross band repeater onboard. The X is meaning Cross not X

band.  The Cross band repeater is 70cm up and  2m down.  Several people are using 
a short hand way of describing the type  of repeater.

Yes, i can see were typing 'Cross band' instead of 'X-band' would
make it alot longer.
