RE: Reply goes to sender, not to amsat-bb



I guess the point is that when you sign up to a listserv you expect to have a
discussion with everyone and not just the one person that sent the e-mail to
the list.  This means that you really aren't replying to the author but to the
group and because the list isn't configured properly you end up not having a
discussion with the group but rather the originator leaving everyone else out
unless you catch the mistake.

Now with that said, the reply and the reply-to-all buttons do exactly what
they say.  If you want the message to go to everyone you hit "reply to all".
It does make sense, it is just annoying.

What is the point?  That's exactly what Outlook Express does as well.  I hit
'reply all' and it goes back to you and the group.
