RE: VO-52



Hi Ron,

On the almost overhead pass here in Northern CA at 1840Z, I didn't notice
any "break-up" but did notice, and have noticed for some time some now, a
"raspy-ness" on the CW note. I'm suspecting some modulation of the beacon
from the transponder or the oscillator doing some "sqweeging" (a highly
technical term for breaking into some parametric oscillation). The frequency
also seemed to be a tad higher than I've noticed in the past.
