[amsat-bb] Hamsat- Dutch transponder switching ON

Hi All
We are happy to convey the message from the Hamsat Project Dir and Mission
Operation Dir ISRO about their decision to switch on the second transponder
( Dutch ) on the Hamsat on the forenoon ( 10.25 IST ) of 17 November 2007.
The details of the orbit number for this operation will be announced later.

We have been asked to notify the following details on the various Amsat
groups and on our web page www.amsatindia.org  www.amsat.in

Details of the Second Payload Transponder:
Type : Linear Inverting transponder
Uplink frequency  : 435.220- 435.280  MHz,
Downlink frequency  : 145.870- 145.930 Mhz
Beacon    : CW at 145.859330 MHz (145.86 MHz)

performance of this transponder would be highly appreciated.
