V(SSB) / U (FM) observation

Interesting pass last night on V(SSB0/U(FM) operation last night. I found
that the s/n was greatly improved over strictly FM operation as well as a
lot less "collisions" of ops. The big issue was the need to adjust uplink,
downlink, and the rotators. Other observation?
