Re: W7RLD's S-Band Helix Feeds

Let's please get with it - and start using the brains that the Lord has
given us !

Bob, W7RLD, an amsat Member - is doing a great service and favor to others
Amateurs who are interested
in getting on satellites and enjoying the S-band down-link birds. Without a
doubt, many - who don't have the know how or the tools - to build a quality
S-band helix feed - now have - because of his efforts - the means to pick up
that extra dbm or two - such that they can "hear" something - aside from
noise - and continue on listening to and eventually working other Amateurs -
via satellites - rather "giving up" when they hear absolutely "nothing".

Tim Pickett is "right on target" - there ought to be more hams like Bob- who
lend a helping hand to others in enjoying and using the spectrum that we are
allocated - rather than never venturing into the 2.4GHz Band.

Respectively,
James R. La Frieda ( Ph.D. E.E.), N6MV
