The AMSAT Online Store took its first order on November, 18, 2004. Here we are 
less than one year later and order number 1,000 was placed today. The Online 
Store has made it easier for members and non-members to join and renew their 
memberships, purchase AMSAT branded products and pay for Awards. 

Just a reminder, the AMSAT store does not immediately charge your credit card. 
This is still done manually by Martha, the secure online website only collects 
the information for her.
