Re: Questions about SSETI Express telemetry competition

Hi Douglas,

Is there a requirement for the contest that you
send the received telemetry to SSETI Express
Mission Control in realtime during the satellite
pass? - NO!

Can you receive the telemetry, save it, and use
the SERACC system to send telemetry after the
pass? -YES!

Or, can you record the received audio from
the pass and send it into your TNC later, then
forward the demodulated data to SSETI Express
Mission Control after the pass? - IF your recording system is good enough
then yes!

We are presently beta testing the software using real off air signals here
at the assembly building in between doing other tests on the spacecraft.

The process is that the SERACC software will create a submission file that
can sent to SSETI at anytime of your choosing.

The software shud be issued realsoon now but like all student projects
things seem to end up being finished somewhat near to the wire
