Re: MISSE5 Freq ?

Andrew,

That is the mode we have been in now for about 2 weeks:
1200 baud telemetry and USERS packet on 435.275
         every 10 or 20 seconds
9600 baud science data on 437.975 every 3 minutes

BUT to make sure that we can tell if the B side is
healthy, we put in a 10 second beacon on that side
to remind us it is alive. This is because after the
solar storm, we were getting resets about once a day.
WIth this 10 second beacon, we only had to listen
for a few seconds to verify that side B was ok,
and then go spend the rest of the pass playing over
on side A with packet...

We hope that 9600 baud stations will stay on side A
to give us the needed science telemetry...

We cannot activate 1200 baud telemetry on both
sides since it is an A or B system. Not both, or the
multiplexer gets confused with two system clocks
driving it...

Has anything changed ?

All I seem to pick up is 437.975
