[amsat-bb] Control Box Yaesu G-5400B & G-5600B

Hi to the list,
I have a problem with my rotator Yaesu G-5400
I cannot understand if it is the Motors or the control box fault.
I want to try first the control box.
A friend of mine own a Yaesu G-5600.
I want to know if I can use the control box of my friend to check.
I repeat my one is Yaesu G-5400B
My friend one is Yaesu G-5600B.
Are they the same or changes something which can damage my friend control
box?
