Anybody good at rounding numbers in PERL ?

I need to round up or down to match the 5 kHz steps of my D700
Example
PERL asks NOVA for a doppler correction
And gets

FQ 00437979
FQ 00437979
FQ 00437979
FQ 00437979
FQ 00437979
FQ 00437979
Now the d700 wants rounded to nearest 5 kHz.
