Requirements for tracking programs

Indeed proper doppler correction on both up and downlink is number ONE!
One feature of SatPC that really helped me on SSB/CW stats, is that it
allows the "calibration" of the uplink (ie just moving the nominal setting
of the uplink, while maintaining doppler correction), to just find you own
signal). This then gets fed back into the sat's frequency database, so from
then on you can much faster find you own signal next time.
On subsequent runs you can move your uplink signal (or downlink) for the
offsets during the particular run.
