Agreed. I have developed my own spreadsheet listing the uplinks and
downlinks for most amateur birds.
The variables I have listed are:
Satellite
Uplink - Center Frequency
Uplink - Passband
Uplink Band (Mode V, Mode U, Mode L, etc.)
Allowable emissions (CW/SSB, FM, Packet, etc.)
Downlink - Center Frequency
Downlink - Passband
Beacon Frequency
It would be relatively easy to update it and add other information, such
as NORAD numbers and alternative identifications (like Hamsat/VO52,
ECHO/AO51, etc.).

inverting transponder or not...
There would probably need to be another field in the database
to indicate inverting or not...
