Well, they ARE running, what, 10 watts (?) on the downlink, compared to the 1 watt or less that most
amateur satellites run........... (TMD700A lists 5/10/50 W on 2M)

I agree 100%. My point was it worked so well even in the nulls of the
antenna that it must be a very strong signal. Just wonted those that had
not tried to give it a go even if they are not Oscar HEO class equipped.
