Re: Airline Carryon



Robert,
The aircraft is aluminum, it is large and the receiver antenna is not in 
side the cabin. Most L.O. are on the low side causing interference to the 
marker beacon receiver 75 MHz. Nothing should be operated during takeoff and 
landing. GPS is now being tested for the automated  landing system. VOR and 
Marker beacons will soon be a thing of the past and with satellite radio FM 
broadcasts may also be.
