70 cms pre-amps

Hello Group.

There have been several mails recently either reporting poor receive signals
on U band downlinks or asking about 70cms pre-amps.

I have been working on a general purpose PCB for a 70cm / 23cm pre-amp.
Although this is 'work in progress' the results on 70cm have been quite good. If
anyone needs some encouragement to try building a pre-amp for themselves
then there are some basic details at:

The ATF54143 seems very forgiving and good results can be obtained even with
'dead bug' construction. - As long as you don't have too much source
inductance and you use the resistor in the drain.
