Les,
With Homeland Security these days, I recommend carrying it on.
Take your manual and license. If you can show it is a working radio,
makes it easier.
Just don't take that radio off the airplane and try taking it on a Carnivla
Cruise!!! You would regret that :(
Other than Carnival, you should have no problems.
