Hi Simon,

I don't know exactly what you were doing with your FT-847, but SatPC32 tunes 
the transmit on my FT-847 when I transmit.  Using the "CAT" menu you can 
step the transmit up and down in 10Hz, 100Hz or 1000Hz steps from the 
computer while transmiting (I just checked to make sure).  So, Yes the 
FT-847 can be updated in transmit mode.

I don't know how Eric did it, but it works nicely!  :-)
