Send Your Name/Callsign To Pluto
The launch of the Solar Sail this evening at 19:46:09 UTC (keep a listen out
on 401.5275 and 2250 MHz) has reminded me that you can have your
name/callsign sent all the way to Pluto free of charge.
The New Horizons mission is due to launch 11 January 2006 to perform
reconnaissance of Pluto-Charon and the Kuiper Belt.
All the names entered on the website below will be recorded on a CD which
will be mounted on the spacecraft before it begins it's historic journey to
Pluto and beyond.
