And there was a story on NPR's "Morning Edition", too.

Launch Time is scheduled for 19:46:09 UTC today (3:46 pm US East Coast
time)
from a Russian Navy submarine, submerged beneath the Barents Sea. I have
no
idea what frequency or format their telemetry is using.

Planetary Society web sites for this mission are:
http://www.planetary.org/solarsail/latest_update.html
http://planetary.org/solarsailblog/index_02.html
http://planetary.org/news/2005/cosmos1_solarsail_timeline_0616.html

They seem to be getting the press coverage that Amsat never gets for our
launches. They were supposed to be on "Good Morning America" this
morning.
