RE: ISS for Field Day

This complaint pops up every year.  And, since almost everyone here will
have earned the bonus points by communicating through satellites such as
AO7, FO29, VO52, or SO50, I don't see why all the moaning and

The ARRL Field Day Rules specifically state that, in order to qualify
for the bonus, a contact must follow the Earth-Satellite-Earth path.
This makes absolute great sense to me, because the object is to
demonstrate satellite communication, not to show that you can talk to an
