Re: ISS for Field Day

A contact with the ISS will count for "QSO points" but not for "Satellite
Bonus" in the ARRL Field Day. Here is a copy of email I just received from
Dan Henderson.

Hi Grant:

A QSO with the ISS counts for QSO credit.

The satellite bonus is for an Earth-to-Earth QSO, which is the reason the no
relayed QSO requirement is waived for satellite QSOs. While exciting, a QSO
with the ISS is not a relayed QSO - Earth to Space, so it does not meet the
criteria for the relayed Earth-to-Earth satellite bonus.

Thanks and 73
