Re: preamps



SSB Electronics if you are in the USA. Very good power handling, low NF, 
good gain, easy to get power to (two different approached).

I've used both the 2m and 70cm preamps and have had excellent success with 
them. The customer service (see QST ads or google them) is also quite good. 
Another plus is the outfit actually has good NF measuring equipment and can 
repair the preamps PROPERLY, should you experience a failure.
