you can operate amsat field day with one operator and one station. We encourage everyone at home, abroad, or at a field day site to participate. We even have an award for the winner that operates on commercial power from home.

In the ARRL Field Day rules we must have at least a 2A group in order to 
have a satellite station.
Under the Amsat rules can we have only a 1A group plus a satellite station 
for the Amsat contest?
