West Coast Space Symposium - May 7th.



For those of whom haven't visited the Project OSCAR website, the 2nd Annual 
Project OSCAR West Coast Space Symposium will be held this coming weekend 
(May 7th) at the College of San Mateo in San Mateo, California. This is a 
full day of topics concerning Amateur Satellites, both from an operations 
and construction standpoint. The Symposium is sponsored jointly by Project 
OSCAR and the Electronics Department of the College of San Mateo.

In addition to presentations, the Symposium will have live demonstrations 
on AO-51 and SO-50.

The cost for the Symposium is $15 (student rate is $8). This includes 
breakfast snacks, lunch and parking. For directions and parking information

familiar with the College of San Mateo please park in Parking Lot 3A and 
look for the Project OSCAR and AMSAT Banners. Ifyou are lost or need 
handicap access ask for the student center (main cafeteria) building and we 
will have signs in the hallway.

Registration begins at 8:00AM. Breakfast snacks and mixing is from 8am to 
9am. The symposium presentations will start promptly at 9am.
