RE: Technical question about RF absorbtion

Having re-read the question... I gathered that maybe you are more interested
in close emulation of the thermal environment. The question of absorbtion of
power - whether by a resistor or a larger-volume medium will still create
the circumstance of a extra heat inside the chamber ( because the RF energy
will not radiate outside the chamber - unless you can do as others are
suggesting, to use the entire chamber + window as a coupled cavity -
tricky). A way around this might be to use coax in paralell to the antenna
connection ( so the antenna is still part of the thermal circuit), bringing
the LCR load out to a window where it could radiate thermally (IR) to the
outside-only.
