Graham,
Having no idea what the chamber looks like or how much space you have i
have a few
feeble suggestions. A sleve of steel wool makes a good rf absorber
because it is very lossy.
The other is if there is a view window maybe you could capacitivly
couple the signal out
to an external dummy load using the view window as a dielectric.
