RE: Full duplex handhelds ?
Tim,
I use an Icom W32A for the easy sats. I upgraded the battery to 12v NiMH
so that gives me 5W out for a longer period than the stock battery. I
also like the fact that it has a dual display with independent squelch
and volume controls. No toggling between bands. Hope it helps.

Subject: [amsat-bb] Full duplex handhelds ?
Hi all,
I'm in the market for a VHF/UHF handheld to use on AO51 etc and I was
wondering
what gear you guys n gals are using ?
I'd be interested to here pros and cons for various handhelds
specifically for
working the easy sats.
thanks
Tim
