Re: G-5500/G-5400

My 12 year old G-5400B has the DIN connector and relays, and my very old
KR-5400 (the original Kenpro version) also has a DIN connector with relays.
I've never seen any version of the 5400 without the DIN connector and
relays. Also, my G-5400B has a thermal cut-off for the azmith rotor (and it
works well -- don't ask how I know) and limit switches on the elevation
rotor -- I haven't checked the Kenpro. I believe the main difference
between the G-5400 and the G-5500 is that the azmith rotor has 400 or so
degrees rotation on the G-5500 while the 5400 has only a little over 360
degrees. I have heard rumors that the 5500 may have a little more robust
construction -- gears and such -- but I don't have any personal knowledge.
